Tucked away in the wine country of Southwest Michigan sits this gorgeous tented space, owned by Tabor Hill Winery. To showcase this venue, newly built in the middle of a vineyard and surrounded by lush grapevines, Kelsey (co-owner and lead designer) brought in soft, complimenting decor that is both trendy and elegant to bring her vision to light. Kelsey’s design was inspired by the dream of a romantic wedding in the foothills of Tuscany, the original wine country and consisted of a charming color palette with lavender, mauve and taupe. All details were perfectly captured by Karla with True Color Studios.
The whitewashed wooden head table is lined with a mauve cheesecloth runner and decorated with florals and fresh greenery from Flowers by Anna along with romantic gold mercury glass votives. The guest tables are set with vintage crystal glassware, grey stone dinnerware, and brushed gold flatware. The centerpiece of the room is a hand painted cake from The Mad Baker on a wine barrel provided by Tabor Hill.
The cocktail lounge, from the Magnolia furniture collection at Burns Rental Company, is paired with high top tables made out of old wine barrels from Tabor Hill.
The ceremony site was completely transformed with lush greenery and flowers on the pergola and bringing in Burn’s Rentals white washed willow chairs to soften the whole space.
EJD Designs stationary really took the design to the next level with her lush floral prints and deep colors with soft calligraphy, it tied perfectly into all the details.
The bride and groom, who so kindly modeled for our shoot, had just eloped the weekend before, surrounded by close family and friends in New York City. They had very few photos taken during their elopement, so our styled shoot ended up being the dream wedding photos they had always wanted. In a gorgeous Hayley Paige gown and with her hair and makeup perfectly done by Natalia, our bride soaked in every moment with her new husband and their sweet daughter.
